Bruce A. Gartner, DDS, MS
Dr. Gartner has been in private practice Periodontics for over 30 years. He was an instructor at Loyola Dental School until it was closed in 1993.
His current emphasis in Periodontics is on its relationship and connection to many chronic systemic diseases, including: heart disease; stroke; Alzheimer’s disease; certain cancers; and a number of other chronic conditions. His philosophy is trying to best accommodate the patient in achieving optimal health and esthetics. He works closely with a patient’s general dentist to work out a customized treatment plan for each case. Teamwork and communication are the keys to success.
Today, hard and soft tissue grafting for cosmetics and dental implants to restore the mouth are the current focus in periodontal care along with keeping one’s teeth and gums healthy. New gum grafting techniques now now available scalpel free and suture free.
